Sunday Stars is Back!

After doing a lot of fantastic work online over the last few months, our Sunday School, Sunday Stars, is finally meeting face to face again on Sunday mornings.

We've had to make a few changes to make things possible.  Perhaps the biggest is that we are now meeting up the road at St. Andrew's Church, Burnt Yates.  As this is one of our other buildings it means we can be confident of when and how it used to keep it Covid-secure.  It also has a large field on site, which lets us get outside to enjoy the fresh air as well.

Due to the guidance we have to work under we are limited to only 5 adults on site, which means parents/carers unfortunately can't stay for the sessions, and that we can only really take children primary age and up. We have, however, moved the start time to 9.45am to let any parents/carers who wish to to make their way back down to Ripley (about a 4 minute drive) in good time for the start of the 10am service there.  Sessions will be finished by 11.15am.

Sunday Stars will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month - which means we are starting back this Sunday, 18th October.

Again, due to national guidance, we are limited to only 15 children per session, so if yours would like to come along please book in in advance by filling out this form.  You will need to do this each week they are planning on coming.  To help with planning please do this by Friday each week.

We would appreciate your help in ensuring all children who are coming understand the need to keep physical distancing.  If they can bring their own hand sanitiser that would also be useful, but not obligatory.  Facemasks are now mandatory in places of worship for anyone over the age of 11, unless exempt.

Not everyone has signed up to our newsletter system yet, so please do pass this on to anyone who might be interested and may not have seen it - and better yet encourage them to sign up to our weekly newsletter to stay in the loop as things continue to develop!

We look forward to seeing you soon.
