We have pollinating bugs and bees to thank for every third mouthful we eat. Not only do they pollinate our food crops, but they’re also vital for the survival of other wild plants that support so much of our wildlife. How can we help them? One way is to build a bug and bee hotel. These can be as simple as a pile of twigs, dried leaves and pinecones pushed into a corner of the garden, or it such items can be placed into a bespoke ‘hotel’ which can also be decorative.
