Eco Tip August 11th - Conserving Water
Our eco-tips for August all relate to being outside in God’s wonderful creation.
Are you old enough to remember the great drought of 1976? That was when I learned to save ‘grey’ water for use in the garden. Water used for washing up or in the bath that hasn’t had harsh chemicals added (washing up liquid, shampoo and soap are generally fine) can be reused to water your garden. Rainwater collection butts are easy to install next to rainwater pipes and provide free, unmetered water for your plants and flowers.
