Left over pumpkin from Hallowe'en?

At the least, put pumpkins in the compost, rather than in the landfill-destined waste bin. Please remember that leaving pumpkins out for wildlife to eat is NOT recommended, as raw pumpkin can make hedgehogs, badgers, foxes and other animals poorly. 

On Hallowe'en itself please remember those people for whom the occasion brings anxiety and even fear - perhaps of unwanted callers or of a sense of spiritual darkness. Pray for them to feel a deep sense of the Light of Christ, which the darkness cannot overcome.
